Green Lane Ashton on Mersey proposed location of 2 cycle stands outside number 5 (the new hairdresser between Shelley R and Orchard Cafe) in between the puddle and the planter. However, the planter could be utilised as cycle parking by pro ... [more]

There are at least 6 bicycles parking at different trees around Alan Preece Court. A few month back one of the bicycles was stolen by cutting the tree it was locked to. There are more than 15 parking places for cars, but unfortunately nothi ... [more]

Delivery van blocking the mandatory cycle lane.

No Overtaking Cyclists past these roadworks - which were cleared away by 1.30pm on a Friday.

Privatisation of the pavement/footway - no concern for the crowds heading to and from the station.

A view towards the viaduct from Ribblehead station yard

Gates here too. The spacing of each looks OK but I'm less sure about the width from the wooden bollards either side of the gate in the foreground. See #93346

Cyclists on the escalators to the Sint-Anna tunnel, Antwerp - the trick is to turn your front wheel 90 degrees. And yes, some cyclists in Belgium and the Netherlands do wear helmets.

End of shared-use route, Quidhampton

Cycle parking of sorts.

Almost everything except cycling is banned, it seems, on this link to the Normandy coast path.

In 2008 the Coop showed disregard to cyclists providing so called cycle parking out of sight from the main entrance in the form of wheel grabbers. These were so unpopular that the area was used for storage by the Coop. May be co-op can fit ... [more]
